teaching artist & educator
I am an experienced teaching artist and hold a Master's degree in Theatre Education from the Catholic University of America. Currently, I am the Director of Arts in Education and Community Engagement at Governors State University's Center for Performing Arts.
For nine years I was the drama teacher and director at The Chicago City Day School as well as a freelance teaching artist. During the spring of 2020, I adapted lesson plans and performances to accommodate distance learning and virtual productions. In July of 2020, I taught a virtual theatre camp for Governors State University.
Previously, I was Education Manager at Emerald City Theatre in Chicago. I have taught and planned theatre curriculum for ages 3 to 18.
